Robert Wang

Robert is a serial entrepreneur who has been involved in four hi-tech startup companies, all of which had successful exits with aggregated value exceeding $150 million USD. What’s unique about his startup experience is that all those companies had been incorporated in Canada and founded by Canadian entrepreneurs.  He began his career at Snowbush Inc. alongside a top-tier collection of professors, PhDs, and like-minded engineers in high-speed interconnect design, enabling fast data transfer on the internet. In 2008, he joined VSemiconductor (acquired by Intel) as a founding team member, where he architected the world’s first hybrid transceiver for datacenters. In 2017, he co-founded AnalogX Inc. along with Navid Yaghini and Jake Li (acquired by Rambus), focusing on ultra-low-power semiconductor design used in LEO constellation satellites, blockchain semiconductor chips, and AI HPC. Robert holds a B.A.Sc. from the University of Waterloo and an M.A.Sc. from the University of Toronto.
