Xerxes Wania

Xerxes Wania earned his Master of Applied Sciences from the University of Toronto in 1989. His technical career includes roles at Mitel, Gennum, and Cableshare Inc., where he worked on ASIC design for telecom and digital video. In 1998, he co-founded Xentec, a mixed-signal and PHY IP company later acquired by Synopsys. In 2004, he co-founded Sidense, specializing in OTP non-volatile memory, also acquired by Synopsys in 2017. Xerxes now advises CEOs and startups, serving on both for-profit and non-profit boards. He enjoys nature, working with dogs, and woodworking.
