Colin Harris

Colin is one of the more successful technology entrepreneurs in Vancouver. He co-founded and became COO of PMC-Sierra (now Microchip), a NASDAQ-listed semiconductor company . He also served on the board of Redlen Technologies , which revolutionized CT scanning sensors, from startup to exit.

A supporter of the BC entrepreneurial community as both an angel investor and mentor, Colin currently advises many of the vibrant startups in Vancouver and is on the board of pH7 Technology, Elevated Signals, Miru Smart Technology, Apera.ai and Inverted.ai. Colin was a founding partner of the Creative Destruction Lab ( CDL) Vancouver. Colin also was a member of the Global Semiconductor Alliance Board and the Vancouver Writers Fest for several years.

A down and dirty chip guy, Colin got his start at Mitel Semiconductor in Bromont PQ after graduating from UBC Engineering Physics.
